Aaron Kelly could be a front runner

Sullivan County native Aaron Kelly is a front-runner to be next American Idol

If you’ve been watching the new season of “American Idol” — and judging by the ratings you probably have — you’ve no doubt taken notice of a fresh-faced teenage contestant by the name of Aaron Kelly.
Well, now you have an extra reason to cheer him on: He’s a local boy.
Well, sort of. The 16-year-old country music singer lives in Sonestown in Sullivan County, near Williamsport. Not exactly right next door, but not too far up the road, either.
